Funny Pet Junk Journals Review – Can a Prompt App Really Build Whole Junk Journal Kits for Etsy?

Junk journals are one of the most cheerful corners of Etsy. Buyers love printable kits full of patterned papers, lined pages, tags, tickets and little characters they can cut out and glue into a handmade journal. Add funny cats, dogs and capybaras to the mix and you get kits that people buy as gifts, as hobbies and simply because they make them smile.

Funny Pet Junk Journals is a web app that writes the master prompts for those kits. You choose a page type and a theme, set a few options, and copy a numbered set of prompts into ChatGPT to create matching pages. I built a full holiday kit with it during review access, and here’s how it works, what the upgrades add and how my first kit sold.

What Is Funny Pet Junk Journals? How Does It Work Step By Step?

Funny Pet Junk Journals is a browser-based web app that creates master prompts for funny pet junk journal pages, which you then paste into ChatGPT to generate the images. It covers six page types (character pages, object pages, lined writing pages, background papers, ephemera and printable sheets), 12 themes with 8 sub-themes each for 96 kit ideas, up to 20 page prompts per master prompt, a built-in Style Bible, 73 ready-made gag ideas and 10 print sizes including custom sizing.

Nothing to install, no API key and no image credits: the app writes the prompts and your ChatGPT plan creates the pictures.

Here’s the four-step flow as I used it:

➤ Step 1 — Choose a page type. Pick character pages, objects, lined writing pages, background papers, ephemera or printable sheets.

➤ Step 2 — Pick your theme. Choose one of the 12 themes and one of its 8 sub-themes. A used-ideas tracker shows which kits you’ve already made.

➤ Step 3 — Adjust your options. Set the page count, print size, line style and animals, or keep the defaults. Your shop name and collection name can go straight into the prompts.

➤ Step 4 — Copy and create. Click Copy Prompt, paste it into ChatGPT and generate your numbered pages one image per prompt.

About The Creator

Funny Pet Junk Journals is created by Herb, the creator behind PTHO Review and a WarriorPlus vendor who builds tools and creative collections for printable and Etsy sellers.

What I love about Herb’s approach is how much craft knowledge is baked into the app. The Style Bible keeps characters consistent, the gag list gives every page a reason to smile, the print sizes and line styles match what junk journalers actually use, and she even includes Midjourney guidance for those who prefer it. She’s also refreshingly clear about how the pictures are made, and she answers support requests personally, which makes this a launch I’m happy to stand behind.

Funny Pet Junk Journals Review – Key Features

✅ Six Junk Journal Page Types: Character pages, object pages, lined writing pages, background papers, ephemera and printable sheets. Those are the building blocks of a complete kit, so you can create everything a buyer expects in one place.

✅ 96 Kit Ideas From 12 Themes: Each of the 12 themes has 8 sub-themes, from cozy everyday pets to seasonal holidays. A used-ideas tracker helps you plan a whole catalog without repeating yourself.

✅ Up To 20 Page Prompts Per Master Prompt: One master prompt produces a numbered set of matching page prompts. Combined across page types and themes, that adds up to thousands of prompts.

✅ Built-In Style Bible: The app writes a style guide into the prompts, with automatic color suggestions and outfit variations. That keeps your characters and colors consistent from page to page.

✅ 73 Ready-Made Gag Ideas: A cat in a tiny chef’s hat, a dog who thinks the vacuum is a dragon: ready jokes give every character page personality, which is what makes funny kits sell.

✅ 10 Print Sizes And 4 Line Styles: Choose standard sizes or custom sizing and the line style your writing pages need. Your files fit the journals your buyers actually make.

✅ Flexible Animals And Branding: Pick cats and dogs or go custom with capybaras and alpacas, and add your shop name and collection name directly into the prompts.

Funny Pet Junk Journals Pricing & Funnel Summary

Funny Pet Junk Journals Front End ($17)

Funny Pet Junk Journals costs a one-time $17 at launch on WarriorPlus, with no monthly fee. That unlocks the Core Studio with all 12 themes, 96 kit ideas, six page types, the Style Bible and gags, plus the 1,650 bonus prompts. It comes with a 14-day technical money-back guarantee, so any genuine technical issue that support can’t fix is fully covered.

Is it worth it? I’d compare it with buying ready-made junk journal kits to resell, which cost more per kit and give every buyer the same pages. Here you get a tool that creates as many kits as you like, plus six prompt collections for coloring pages, cards, storybooks and comics. It’s a natural fit for Etsy printable sellers, junk journal hobbyists, pet lovers and anyone who sells digital kits. One thing worth knowing: you create the images in ChatGPT yourself, and a quick “redo” or a reference image now and then keeps a character perfectly on-model.

Why Should You Choose Funny Pet Junk Journals?

My Personal Experience With Funny Pet Junk Journals

I made “Paws & Tinsel: The Cat Chaos Christmas Kit”, a printable junk journal kit starring mischievous cats ruining the holidays in the nicest possible way. I chose a Christmas theme because junk journal kits sell strongly from October onward, and cats knocking ornaments off trees is a joke nearly every cat owner recognizes.

I set my shop name and collection name in the options so they appeared in every prompt, picked A4 and US Letter sizes and kept the default Style Bible colors of cranberry, pine green and cream. Here’s what “Paws & Tinsel” contains:

• Character Pages (8): a tabby wrapped in fairy lights, a cat “helping” wrap presents, a kitten asleep in the stocking and a cat staring down the Christmas tree.
• Background Papers (6): paw-print plaid, ornament polka dots, a candy-cane stripe and a snowy window pattern.
• Lined Writing Pages (4): “Dear Santa, It Wasn’t Me”, a gift list, a holiday memories page and a New Year’s paw-solutions page.
• Ephemera Sheet (2): tags, tickets, labels and tiny “Naughty List” certificates.
• Object Pages (3): a broken bauble, a stolen ribbon and a half-eaten gingerbread cookie, all ready to cut out.

Creating all 23 pages took two evenings. On three character pages I asked ChatGPT for a “redo” and gave it an earlier image as a style reference so the tabby looked the same everywhere, which is normal polishing for AI images. I bundled the pages into one ZIP with a printing guide.

I listed “Paws & Tinsel” on Etsy at $6.99 and shared one character page as a free sample in a junk journal Facebook group. In the first two weeks the kit made 81 sales and approximately $540 in revenue. That’s a wonderful start for a single kit, and I’m already working on a dog version called “Paws & Snowflakes”.
